Overview

This course is an opportunity to think together about the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.

 

Aims

The course aims to promote your own mental wellbeing, and to empower you to meet the emotional wellbeing needs of children and young people.

 

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course you will have:
increased awareness of infant and child development and how this impacts on emotional wellbeing
increased awareness of wellbeing in the teenage years
explored practical strategies for promoting mental wellbeing in children and young people
learned skills in how to look after your own mental wellbeing
made links with CAMHS Early Intervention Service for support and consultation, and further training if required

 

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for people working directly with children and young people.
 
Please note: priority will be given to people working with children, young people and their families in Fife.
